Seeing news on Patrick always makes me chuckle. I played against/with his brother and all of my memories of Patrick are of him crying about something. Funny how much you can grow up in 15+ years. Congrats to him!

I thought that too. He's doesn't blow you away athletically, so that could be a reason. He's so incredibly steady though, and I feel like he will be a guy that can be a solid, consistent striker in the league.

A lot of teams had defensive needs. He was either going in the first few picks or going a good bit later (ie 11th).

FWIW, NE traded up to get him.

That's the true true.

Their team is looking up with he and Davies. In fact the league as a whole is looking up. I'm excited for the new season.
