Time to Google citizenship requirements... I could probably make their national team and get in for a game or two.

They are all real San Marinians. That’s part of why they suck.

Their citizenship requirements are legit top 10 most difficult in the world.

Unless you get it at birth, you have to live in the country uninterrupted for 30 years - and prove you've never been arrested.

The dream is to watch a Faroe Islands vs San Marino match. Soccer in its purest form.

You could watch two random club teams from your city and see the same standard of play

wikipedia says that was their only win ever, a 1-0 victory over Liechtenstein in a friendly.

In World Cup and Euro qualifying their all-time record is 0-3-149.

My friend moved to Spain near the Gibraltaran border and plays for a team in their premier league.

He is legit the best player I've ever played with at any level and I would think would be a decent national league player if he'd have focused on that as a career, and he only just gets on the bench. The standards are higher than you think even for those that suck.

Cool story - his team lost the national cup on pens a few years ago, if they won he'd have been playing in Europe!
