Actually, Jags is one of the only CBs that I will support to shoot whenever he wants and regularly puts efforts on target. He once scored a screamer for Sheffield Utd.
It was a great strike that was clearly intentional. Sure, statistically Liverpool "deserved" to win, but I don't think that was a foul on Mario on Gerrard's free kick. He did his best Suarez impression. And Timmy probably should have saved it, too.
Plus, we were much more threatening before Mirallas was stretchered off. Just be glad that Barry (who shouldn't have still been on) didn't backheel that final set piece in for the win. Take the points. They're precious for both teams at this point in the season.

Yesterday sucked, but I'm really not upset with the way we played.. No defense was stopping that Jagielka goal... But otherwise, we were much better defensively against one of the highest scoring teams in the EPL.. And I think Barry should have been sent off and us awarded a PK for his hand ball..
We just need to get more of our players back healthy... Sturridge (Markovic is not ready to start week in and week out) coming back will change our attack for the better...

Yeah, I'm over it at this point. We have an away day at Basel coming up, so can't really dwell on yesterday's result.
