He must identify as at least partially American if he played for us. The British articles about him turning down Bundesliga offers to stay in the championship all call him American and don't mention his German heritage

Which is funny b/c all the article about him a few months ago when they were top of the league kept saying hes German. Im pretty sure both his parents are American but since he grew up in Germany just says he is German.
