RFK is honestly so bad. Probably the worst stadium I've watched a sporting event in. It was so awkward watching baseball there.

I always found the ESPN campaign to make RFK the national team's 'home' stadium hilarious.

its a dump that has hosted the most national team matches.
That will probably keep on going with the new stadium. Good thing is it will be much harder to all the central americans to get tickets

Good to see one of MLS' most successful teams finally get a soccer-specific stadium. Nobody will miss RFK.
Now we just need to get the Revs on board, but that'll never happen under current ownership.

Moving the stadium to Haynes Point is a huge blow for Stadium-Armory. Building something over by RFK would have really accelerated gentrification. I still think the southeast Jerome will make his last stand at the Anacostia River, and everything on the other side of 295 will remain unchanged, but this just bought another 5-10 years.
