I believe he's talking about the age of some of their players.

Like Morata and Pogba?

To suggest that Madrid doesn't respect and support their fans isn't only wrong it is flat out dumb.

As far as money goes....it is whatever...people that have it are hated and people that don't have it want it more than anything else. It's the way of the world.

All of this.

I've supported PSG since the late 90s and I was hoping like hell they might have some money again one day to stop being relegation fodder. Now they do, and yeah people hate them for it, but they've treated fans better over the last few years than they ever did before.

I'm not a Real fan/supporter, so I have no idea about that. What they have ALWAYS been about is....taking as much as they can from their own association { like Barca }, to the detriment of an entire soccer league...and then spending their way to championships.

IMO, the real critique of Real Madrid is that sometimes they seemingly spend money without worrying about how the pieces fit together. ManU has been guilty of this recently as well.

So explain to me exactly what the problem is with La Liga right now and I guarantee you I'll set you straight.

The reason I know this is because you think Madrid and Barca are the problem

That's not exactly the case, though. In La Liga the teams are able to negotiate their own TV rights as opposed to selling them all collectively. It's true, obviously, that Barca and RM gain the most from this setup and the rest of the league loses potential revenue. But this is exactly what the whole strike/government TV contract takeover/etc. thing that's going on right now for La Liga is about and both clubs had actually agreed to an even split. This is probably because they both see that collectively their rights might be worth more than they are individually (like the Premier league rights have possible shown).

I'd be the first to agree with that.

Damn you weren't supposed to tell him

So I'll offer up some more for our friend. The reason the players (all players from all teams not just Madrid and Barca) are striking isn't because they don't want to share revenue. They are striking because they want to share more with the lower leagues like Segunda Division and below.

However, you can go right along with your rhetoric though....it sounds good for someone in your sport. A self claimed supporter of the little man. Good job. You go do that while Madrid and Barca (as much as I hate them) continue to try to help the league.

I think he was saying they have an older team. That's what I took from his comment.

I don't know what you think Dandy doesn't know, but you haven't even answered why Juve was in Serie B yet.

IF Real/Barca are "helping" the rest of Spanish soccer..I wish someone would tell all the teams....LOL, because most of them are bordering on insolvency....just how does one explain that ?

Juventus has always been a top spending club in Serie A, and top four, five to ten, on a European scale.

They bridge the gap with season long multiple match fixing. Dead horse, my arse. LOL.
