I find it hilarious that they dropped the British guy (I forget his name) that is usually with this studio crew for the transition from FSC to regular Fox. Guess they don't think a broad American audience can handle too much foreign-ness.

also, my son got a goal in indoor last night from 10 yards behind midfield.. apparently he bent it in right over the keeper.. i wasnt there (my daughter had a cheerleading deal), but his coach said it was awesome.. CSB, but he is a defender and doesnt score often, but he works tirelessly at home practicing shots like that.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like Friedel's British accent was even more pronounced during the 2002 World Cup run.
It was amazing back then, considering he'd only been in England for like 5 years.
