Two things I take away from this final:
1. Germany is going to be real good for a real long time
2. Claudio Bravo sucks balls...I hope CHity lock him down for 5-6 years. He might be the only keeper I would take Guzan over

I wish we adopted the German youth structure. Their turnaround after the 2000 Euros shows the benefit of having an FA that has a vision and a league that uses competition to enhance the national player pool. It is an excellent marriage between two entities which can often be opposed to one another.

I was about to say you're right until I read that there has never been a team who won the Confederations Cup that went on to win the World Cup the following year.
