The commentary on the online game cast for those subs was hilarious.

Like I said I honestly have tried to ease off the last couple of weeks but he makes it impossible. What in the blue hell could possibly be going through his mind? It's beyond maddening.

“I just concentrate on my football, that's it,” Benitez said, denying that he was aware of the abuse. “I concentrate on football.”

“We were weak in the wide areas and were a bit tired, and I didn't see any other wingers on the bench. It was my idea.”

Benitez rounded on those who criticise his decisions from afar: “It is easy to see the bulls from the fence.”

Yeah, the Yossi sub was odd. I understand Moses for Hazard especially after supposedly picking up a knock. But Yossi has never had a place on this team.

I think it's a testament to Rafa to have you here and in the finals for a trophy given your squad... You have a good starting eleven, but not much quality depth

Finished watching the game with my son when we got home. At least I'm not the only one questioning the subs.

Rafa has forgotten more than you will ever learn about football.

It's easy to criticize from afar. Chelsea have played a ton of matches this season. The squad is incredibly tired. Yossi has hardly played at all, and there aren't many other players to turn to on that bench.

I would agree, but if Rafa would have asked Lamps to go in instead of Yossi, do you thin Frank would have brought everything he had? Just a bad sub today for me.

Yea I'm sure he would have. Rafa has history with Yossi though, he has scored several clutch goals for him. As he said though, there was little width on the field and he wanted to bring on an energetic player to work the space on the flank. Suits Yossi more than Frank, though I certainly see your point. There are few players in the league better at finding a goal than Frank.

End of the day, looks like Chelsea just had bad luck. Missed a couple chances to bury the game, and Tiny Tots got an offside goal.

That's fine, but we have this certain mid that has scored 201 goals for our club that probably cares more about the club than most. Frank is a gamer, Yossi is a flamer.

Yet he continues to baffle everyone with his moronic decisions. It's his "squad management" that is so awful. He has no concept of, or more likely just doesn't care, what is important to this club.

It doesn't matter if you are on Mars or on the front row behind the bench at the Bridge his decisions are terrible and that's not in hindsight it's immediately evident. For example...

Up a goal against Liverpool and in control of the game what does Rafa do? He takes out our two best players on the ball, we can't keep possession and give up a late equalizer.

Hazard plays 70+ min in a meaningless Europa game that has been decided leaving him unavailable for a huge game against Manchester and apparently, in Rafa's clouded mind, not able to go 90 min. in the biggest game of our season yesterday.

Spurs equalize, he has already taken off our best player, so what does he do? Takes off one of our remaining dangerous attackers and puts on a player who has no business even wearing a Blue shirt and leaves a club legend with 200+ goals on the bench. It's not fair to the team, the fans, or to Yossi frankly.

That's just in the last 2-3 weeks. This team should be so far clear of 4th place it's not even funny.
