Costa drama has to be such a distraction for the team.

Conte said Bakayoko could play a part on Sunday. We desperately need him and Hazard fully fit.

BUT WHERE ARE THE NEW PLAYERS

I didn't like ANY of those three. I find the products of are academy to be very underwhelming.

Morata, Ridiger and Bakayoko are featured today. I like Bakayoko in the central midfield when we get Pedro back. When Hazard comes back, Moses can sit. With a healthy squad, we can be damn strong.

As a Spurs fan, I'd agree.
Even with the guys yall have out right now, the only real noticeable missing talent is Hazard.

Unfrickingbelievable.

Morata showing some quality, minus the miss, with limited service.

Bakayoko sloppy and rusty, to be expected. Seeing the 352, so many opportunities for some lethal counters, just no one skilled enough to break it open.

HUGE win.

Morata's fitness/work rate still have to come a long way for him to come close to Diego for me. It's also hard to judge him yet because Hazard and Pedro haven't been playing alongside him. Having more creative attacking players will provide him with more service and give him more space when defenders are sucked toward our wingers.

You could tell Bakayoko wasn't 100%. You got some glimpses of what he's capable of, but I think he won't be really contributing consistently until after the international break. He gave up far too many free kicks and needs to cut that out.

I think today again showed that if you're going to buy a wing back, it should be on the right side or you get Ox and have someone who can play both (and in midfield). Alonso is a player.

I thought Rüdiger and Christensen were good overall. Defense looked a little shaky at times, but not bad for 90 minutes against a good team away from the Bridge. I was really only nervous immediately after the Michy own goal.

In terms of signings, I think we need wing back cover on both sides (or a guy who can play both like Ox/Danilo) and another midfielder (would've been nice to have a midfielder to bring on to close the game out today around the 75 minute mark). I'd like two midfielders and two wing backs, but I'd settle for three players and everybody back to fitness.

Christensen needs to put on some lbs. I haven't been very impressed with him this far.

We need one extra WB that can play either side. Ox would be a great signing because of his versatility.

I also want another defensive midfielder that can shut out a game.

In total, 3-4 more players would suffice. Better hurry up with the signings...

So huge.

We had 8 defensive minded players on the field and went away and won at the runner ups.

Morata is going to be fine when he isn't going 1v4 all the time when Hazard is back or Cesc can play to feed him balls and we aren't defending 80% of the game.

Not sure what to make of Bakayoko or Rudiger. Maybe it's because they are so long but they both had me worried they were going to give away a foul anytime they had to defend the ball sticking out a leg.

Passing was poor overall.

Hopefully Luiz gets more time in that advanced role but I don't see that happening barring injuries/suspensions.

Really happy for Michy that terrible OG didn't cost us. That could have been a pretty big mental F for him to overcome.

We really need to grind out these next couple of results and be right there after the IB when we are hopefully fully fit and ready to rock.

tl:dr Great result today

He tweeted (because of course) already, and he seems to be going about it the right way. He knows he made an error, but he doesn't seem to be crushed.

Willian was a difference maker today. One of his best games I've seen, maybe because he was the only real creative threat I'm over estimating his performance ? Did well imo

I actually thought he was not very good in the first half. Had a good second half. Made some good runs with the ball but like Morata had no support.

Christensen has been great. 100% passing accuracy, 9 clearances and 4 blocks today.

In all our defense did well against the many attacks of Tottenham. We were lacking in the link up play during transitions but that will be helped by Pedro and Hazard's returns. We still need depth and preferably an upgrade at RWB, but our starting XI is strong.
