To be fair he could end up working out. Not a lot of people were excited about Alonso. I'm more upset about failing on another deal in Llorente.

Ya, either its another sneaky success like Marcos or he doesnt pan out, either way we just a need a body at that spot.

Zappacosta is official. Paperwork for Drinkwater is apparently done. I just don't think you can look at our squad from when the window slammed shut last year and tonight and say "we are definitely better."

Everything I've seen seems like he'll be a useful player to us. He's not Alex Sandro, but he's smart/works hard going forward and in defense/can cross/can play both sides. Seems like he could push Moses for that spot, and if he doesn't take it, it'll be good depth.

He could be twice the player Moses is. We didn't think Alonso was going to be that impactful.
