Check in here if you think Christian Pulisic is already the USMNT's best player.

Jesus, the drop off in quality between this dude, who's only 17, and the rest of these scrubs is UNREAL.

Fabian is our best player but Pulisic is arguably our second best

Pulisic
ETA: Fab is the best player on the team. It's not even an argument right now IMO

You're right, you're right. Forgot about Fabian. Regardless, 2nd best for a 17 year old is damn impressive.

I'd put a few others over Pulisic as well.

All four Americans that play in Germany all played really well today.

Fabs, Brooks, Nagbe, Pulisic. That is how I saw the order of "best" in the game tonight.
Wood played well alone up top, but he is much better with a complimenting striker. Bradley played damn well as a DM.
Yedlin is just one of those players that you take the good with the bad. He pushes high a LOT, and helps in attack... He has the recovery speed for sure, but he won't outrun every player we face to get back in time. He needs to play a bit smarter, but he is still young. That will come with experience.

And the obligatory Feilhaber.

Fabian and Nagbe are better right now, based on the 30 minutes I've seen of Pulisic.

I'd put Nagbe ahead of Brooks, who still had a couple goofy moments but was very good overall.

Bradley at the 6 is the best player on the team, period. Fabs and Brooks are each much better for their clubs, but drop off for the USMNT. Bedoya still playing some great ball, and his experience still has him over Pulisic.

Not really.

If we got to see Fabs on the wing then maybe he would equal his club form. I don't think he's a great defender but his runs forward are good.

Jurgan's strategy actually worked last night. Started the old vets and then hit Ecuador with our young legs in the 2nd half when they were tiered. The flaw in that strategy is giving up early goals. However last night it worked. Now let's see who he plays when we don't have 6 subs.

Pulisic was awesome to watch in person, the stadium went crazy when we was dribbling to keep the ball away from Ecuador late in the game.
However, Brooks really established himself to me as one of our prime players last night. I watched him a lot and he seemed so calm back there and did everything he was supposed to without hesitation, including a couple of big tackles inside the box that he executed flawlessly.
I think the cream of the crop for the team right now is Bradley, Brooks, Yedlin, Bedoya and Wood.
Pulisic can definitely get there, but I mean we've seen him for like a whole 30 minutes.

When he does play on the wing for us, he does play as well as he does for his club.
