and you haven't even had contributions from Gotze or Thiago have you?

Mario Gotze has started in 2 Bundesliga matches for 128 minutes, a subsititue appearance in the Super Cup for 50 minutes, and an additional subsition in the Champions League for 9 minutes.

Thiago has started one Bundesliga match and subbed on in one logging 87 minutes.

Javi Martinez has not started but has played in one Bundesliga match for 6 minutes, one Pokal match for 10 minutes and the UEFA Super Cup for 65 minutes.

Meanwhile captain Phil Lahm has started and played the full match in every competition except for one substitute appearance in the 62nd minute against Freiburg, a match that we tied, by the way.

The Danish strudel is back in action and scored in the reserves match today, 4-0 win over Memmingen. The reserves are now 8 points ahead of second place with a match in hand. Looks like we'll actually get a chance to have a chance to move up to 3rd division. The Regionalliga is a German Alcatraz to escape.

Looks like Müller at CF experiment will be coming to an end soon. He simply misses too many open chances, Mandzukic is better up top.

Yeah, had at least 3 legit chances to put it in the net...

I know most of Bayern's shots went directly at the keeper, but Leno impressed me in goal, very few chances for rebound shots.

Great match, would have liked 3 points but I'll take 1 with BVB losing...

What's the deal with Bayern this season, is it Pep and his tactics?

What do you mean? It's still way too early to say anything. The Pep project is a long term thing. It's not something that will be even recognizable in the first 2 months. After the match today Pep sat alone on the bench for over 30 minutes, he's an interesting man and I think that he and the board are very much the same type of people. They demand nothing but complete domination of every match no matter the opponent. I think that Pep may very welll stay longer than his first contract.

I really want to go to Munich for Octoberfest one day. Actually, I hear Munich is a pretty cool city to visit period.

I've actually been talking to Tweezy about planning a trip to Munich in the near future (a year). May plan to go down there right before Bundesliga's winter break.

It's Oktoberfest with a K though. There's your German lesson for the day

We are 2-0 against them in war so I'll go with the C . But yeah it would be an awesome trip. See a game, tour breweries, and check out the BMW museum.

Going back to Europe in June/July...probably 3 nights in Munich. It'll be during the World Cup, so no Bayern friendlies or anything, but will still be an exciting time to be over there.
(Rest of the trip: Amsterdam, the Rhine river valley [Köln-St. Goar-Bacharach], Munich, Interlaken/Swiss Alps, Paris & London)

As a whole, Munich is likely my favorite city in Europe...this time, an Andechs monastery side-trip is on the list (some of the best beer in the world), and a lot of biergarten downtime is also on the agenda (mostly Augustiner though).

Have no idea what a Munich trip would be like with Hendo & Tweezy, but that sounds like a documentary in the making

Right now, job prevents me from making an Oktoberfest trip, but hopefully that'll change in the near future. Prost, beetches...

Debauchery of the highest order.

Also here's a video of Bayern passing and running, running and passing through ManCity's "defense"
LINK

What a nightmare that must be. I can't remember what Leverkusen player said this, but after the match on Saturday they said if they had to play every match like they did against us then he probably wouldn't play football because running that much is not very fun

Pretty solid cheddar for a young LB. I'd give it to him, though. Kroos is due up next.

I'm a big Alaba fan. If Bayern can keep him locked up for a long time, I don't think they could find anyone better at LB.
