Papa Jupp has ridden off into the sunset after guiding one of the best Bayern teams to glory. If the DFB knows what's good for them, they'd hire him to lead the Nationalmannschaft.

Willkommen Pep Guardiola -- according to Pep's brother, Pep spends 4 hours a day learning German link

His first training session with Bayern is June 26.

Transfers in:

Mario Götze - CAM - Borussia Dortmund
Jan Kirchoff - CB - Mainz
Not a transfer but Ribery extended his contract to 2017 and Daniel van Buyten extended to 2014.

Transfers out:

Nils Peterson - ST - loan move to Werder Bremen made permanent.
Anatoliy Tymoschuk - DM - free transfer to Zenit

Rumored:

Mario Gomez who is rumored to have agreements with Napoli and Fiorentina. Tottenham has made inquiries but Levy is being cheap.

I don't think Arjen Robben is leaving.

Eric Abidal has said that Pep wants him at Bayern. Would be a great backup.

Bad News that Holger Badstuber is going to be out for 10 months. Jan Kirchoff is the logical replacement for him.

Just in case Gomez does leave, I want to press the button one more time... ze button

The Bundesliga trophy is often jokingly known as the Salad Bowl or Dinner Plate bc of how ugly it is. Yes, very ugly indeed

Saw this the other day, forgot their names, but Peep brought two of his video assistants with him. Apparently Pep had a windowless room at Barcas facility where he would go for many hours in the days prior to a match and just watch film on the opponents. The same article also called him a 'linguistic genius' and said they expect him to be able to lead training sessions in German from the get go. Article also talked a little about his leadership style, pretty interesting. Mentioned that he doesn't have a distinct style he just has a natural 'authoritative aura' and that players just trust him.

"He asked me which position I preferred to play in and whether I could possibly play as a number ten," the France international - who is usually on the left flank for club and country - explained. "I replied that I could play anywhere in an attacking position. He has a lot of ideas."

Could possibly see Ribery as a number 10.
