Well hell some here are talking like it is the worst draw ever. I mean hell the only way it could be a much better draw is if you would have gotten Porto or Monaco. I mean hell you didn't get Bayern or Real and you don't have to go to freaking Russia.

My biggest issue is that we're playing Barca again. We got 2 of 3 2013-14 squads in group stage and we're playing barca in the knockouts again.

I mean the draw isn't that bad when you look at it but I would really like to see us play some other squads under Pellers.

I'm really just nitpicking. I like our chances, I just wish it wasn't Barca again.

It's still extremely odd that City got nearly the same draw 2 years in a row between group/R16. I'd love to see those odds

This is what I was getting at. You replaced last year's Czech league winners with fricking Roma. Only difference so far. That's insane.

That being said, we really need Zaba, Kun, Silva, and Give-A-frick Toure to show up/be healthy. Barca may be down but they're still a good side. Solid all around. Maybe not as good as RM, but who the hell is right now?

No doubt....Toure is important .....I just don't understand his lackadaisical, at times, nature this year. I like Kompany, DiMichelis, and crew in this match up (at least right now). You have to hope Neymar and Suarez don't turn it on too much as well.

It will be fun to watch without a doubt. Especially for a casual fan with no real vested interest (other than ill will for Messi and Barca).

Toure has been like that ever since he has been at Citeh...maybe since Barca but I don't watch them much. He could be, IMO, one of the greatest on earth if he gave a shite. He just takes too many games off and it has been worse this year. Hopefully he'll go balls out against Barca.

I honestly don't worry about our back line outside of injury. As much as I ripped DeMichelis after signing he has been pretty fricking good, especially towards the back half of last season. We have the depth there but Kompany is HUGE. He runs shite when the opponent has possession. If we're healthy and Zaba plays like he is prone to doing...we'll be alright there.

They will, but I like our line to limit their chances. They know how to frustrate Suarez. Like you said, the matchup between our D and their forwards will be great.
