Umm, he def tracks back... Has a great work rate for us.. He was let go because we gave them £25mm dollars and he asked to go..

Shaw hasn't done shite to be worth his value... He's an average LB, who may come good one day... You bought potential.. They haven't missed a beat with the Chelsea reject..

Lovren was definitely a miss.. And I do think we over paid for Lallana, but BR had a hard on for him and we were always gonna pay too much... He's about a £15mm player

he doesn't fit the system that he wanted Lallana isn't know for getting back on D. And while under Poch just free roamed attacking. Im a huge Lallana fan but he is not known for busting back on D and keeping a defensive shape. Work rate does not mean back tracking.

What, Shaw after his fitness issue has been pretty damn good and is getting better and better growing into his role. Did we overpay? Of course we paid that English premium and over paid by about 7 or 8 million

He would be starting for Southhampton this season... He may not be known for it, but he does it fine and I'm sure he would have done it for them, if Koeman asked it of him... Don't pretend that he was some cast off... He wanted to leave and we gave them an amount of money they couldn't say no to... It's as simple as that..

He also doesn't have the physical aspect to his game that Koeman likes.

Im not but Koeman didn't put up a fight about letting him go.

They are looking serious. They've played at United, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. Still have tough away games against Everton, Chelsea and City. I don't know if they can hold on, but with how inconsistent Arsenal/Spurs have been (And even United), it'll be interesting for a couple more months I would think.

Barca will make a run at Koeman after this season, no doubt in my mind

I know you've always touted him, and I agree he never tracked back last season. But so far he's done a marvelous job following runners. In fact, its been a huge surprise to most LFC pundits because no one saw that happening this year. I can think off hand of two goals (and we have very few of those) directly caused by his tracking a runner and winning the ball allowing us to counter and score. I don't know what Rodgers told him but its worked.
