Bradley wasn't that bad.

Chandler (in the first half), Yedlin, Gonzo, and Fab (outside of the one tackle) were utter fricking shite.

The whole team was bad. You don't start the hex with a new god damn formation that no one knows how to play in. I swear to god this team has a short bus coach and they have to try winning in spite of him.

Bradley had egregious turnovers all night.

He had some nice wins on 50/50 balls though.

Yeah his passing sucked today but he had some solid steps to the ball that won possession and sprung counters.

For conversion, who do you replace him with?

Can Sacha play that deep? 4-1-3-2?

Wood, Altidore and Pulisic all have to be on the field and Wood and Altidore must be paired up top.

Bradley has been bad for a long time. I can't believe people still defend him. W need to move on from him.

I keep hearing this but no one offers any backup options, just like when people trash Altidore.

I'd rather see Jones, Williams, Trapp or Acosta at the CDM spot
We have the talent to run a
4-1-3-2 some new call ups are in order

RB:Yedlin
CB:Brooks
CB:Besler
LB:Villafana
CDM:Jones
LM:Pulisic
CAM:Kljestan
RM:Fabs
ST:Wood, Altidore

That's what I want to see

I'd take Besler over Villafana now. He's fallen off big time this season.

Trapp has been bad lately. Villafana and Williams are not getting called in because jurgen. Jones is reaching the end of his career. Acosta is not played anywhere but left back by jurgen.

He'd play immensely better if he was given a more defined role.

Agreed

Only time I really got pissed at him tonight was when he didn't play wood in 1v1 against the keeper

Yep and you can apply that to every player on the team. Bradley spends part of the game as a 6, part as an 8, sometimes he's a 10. Tactics and instruction/expectations need to be more clearly defined.

People who shite on Bradley haven't consistently watched this team over the past 6 years. While he's struggled at times since returning to MLS, there are moments where he is clearly the best player on our team. The problem, as others have mentioned, is the lack of tactics and a defined role for him. He can do a great job of protecting the back four, circulating possession, and hitting those great long balls as a DLP to set up mismatches and 1v1 scenarios with our attackers, like Pulisic. Jurgen has jerked Bradley around since he got the job, and there is never any consistency to where and how he is told to play. Bradley has always looked strong for his club teams, from Chievo to Mönchengladbach to Toronto. In those teams his role is well defined and he executes well. He was always solid for the national team before Jurgen arrived, and now his play seems to have dropped. Is it the MLS move decreasing his sharpness? Is it Jurgen's constant tinkering? It's hard to say. I miss the old Bradley, irregardless.
