watching the post-game show and i realized it's not even a variation of english. he's damn near irish in delivery

how the frick did that happen?

But you can barely understand him in general he speaks so deep.

When he was on the bbc coverage for the WC even brits were like wtf is he saying

He was on Wynalda's show (Sirius) earlier this week and they were talking about how he's lost some of the accent now that he's back for 6 months...

Thought he had a neither nor accent where we think he sounds English and they think he sounds American

I dont think he has a full british accent... but there are definitely hints of it..

I don't have problem understanding him at all..

Do you wish anything more in the whole wide world than to talk like him? It could possibly complete the transition.

The English tell me all the time that the closest mode of pronunciation to an Irish accent is an American South accent.
