We have four people capable of playing CB in our first team. Terry turns 35 this season. Iva will turn 32. Cahill will turn 30. I'll take Stones or Rudiger in a heartbeat.

Where did you see that number? Or is that the USD value? Ive seen 25m Euro which is roughly 17m Pounds. Which seems about right.

Kennedy won't be loaned out. This is a super interesting scenario because he is very young and we have almost no exposure to what he can do. I considered it a foregone conclusion that he was part of our loan army when he was first mentioned. To be fair, we first have to complete his transfer and get him a work visa.

Not able to watch, but I see Fiorentina's leading, 1-0, at the Bridge. What's it going to take to get new players brought in?

We started with Aina at RB, Traore at LB, and RLC at cm. So we had a lot of youth in when we went down. Moses played well until his injury. Oscar had a lot of movement but no real control. Falcao didn't seem to do much outside of winning a couple fouls (he's also shorter than I expected).
We looked better in the second half once Ivanovic, Dave, fab, hazard, and Willian were brought on but still couldn't find the final ball. We were too content going to the wing for crosses without having a big target in the middle. We had a few good chances on set pieces and couldn't finish the headers.

It's pre-season sure but face it, we aren't very good and apparently are not going to make any effort to get better.

I'm a Fiorentina fan and I don't think we'll even qualify for Europe this year in a down Serie A. I love Mou from his time at Inter, but Chelsea has issues.

Yea I don't get it. Jose Mourinho obviously knows infinity more about soccer than I do but the issues are so obvious and glaring and were last year even though we ran away with the league.
I can't understand if he is just being ignorant and stubborn or if for some reason our funds are drying up but it is absolutely incredible a squad with our supposed resources can be in the shape ours is in right now.

Would rather Griezmann, but honestly I'd take any signings at this point. The squad is so thin and there is so much money in the bank.

I feel alright about the midfield. I want another attacker and Griezman fits the mold perfectly. He could play winger or striker.
We have to sign a LB. It is comical that the season is about to start and we only have 1 RB and 1 LB on the squad.
Another CB is fine as well...or we will have to recall a youngster from loan because terry, Cahill, and Zouma alone is not enough.

Stones/Rudiger and Rahman are musts.
I can't watch Ramires play another match. I just can't. It's painful to watch him play. Mikel is great for shutting a game down, but we only have one complete midfielder who stays behind the ball and is at the necessary quality to start for us (Matic). We should've made a move for Schneiderlin or put in a bid for a Bender. I also want another attacker who can consistently score/create. If Costa is injured or Hazard doesn't turn up, we just seem to hope for the best.

The only reason that I can think of at all would be regarding the building of the new stadium. But even that doesnt make sense as to why we would be spending absolutely no money at all and depleting our squad of players at the same time.

Dave can play RB so we have coverage there if we get a LB.
