I don't see Willian and Oscar as interchangeable just IMO. i dont like Willian in the middle and i dont like Oscar on the wing. They're two different players.
I was surprised to see Willian centrally but it really seemed like there was a ton of fluidity with those three. Hazard as usual just goes where he wants (which im fine with).
Fabregas and Matic have been nothing but hot garbage this season. I wouldnt be opposed to trying Fab in that middle spot of the 3 midfielders and putting someone else in his holding spot...shite even Mikel? We could use the extra defensive presence...

Red you are completely right. Yall should put Fab in the hole and yall should add more of a straight CM to pair with Matic.

They aren't if Oscar is healthy he is in the middle, which was my point.

Yup and yup I agree even to the point that it might be worth trying Mikel if it can shore up the defense and get Fab more involved.

What's up with Fab and Matic this year? Only 3 games but every time I've seen Fab with the ball in his third he's giving it right to the other team.

Fabregas is struggling because we haven't had guys making good runs for him to pick out and we've played a lot with 10 men and against the best attacking team in the league away where we are always going to be more defensive minded. Hopefully with Pedro this will start to change.
Matic just looks slow, lazy, and clumsy. Don't know what his deal is but hopefully he gets it together.
In the two halves we've played with 11 men against average competition we have scored 5 goals. Not that bad really. Should have had at least 2 vs. City too (did score one legitimately).

We really haven't looked strong offensively though. Even our two goals against Swansea were pretty shite.
