What a treat to have Bobo vieri on Bein sport talking about the Milan derby.
Soccer has been growing exponentially in the USA for the last 10 years, so many probably only know him as a washed up has been. There were a few years there where several considered him to be the best striker in the world, and that was during the real Ronaldo's prime. Pretty influential guy to be on american television.

I thought Bobo was much better in English than Italian. Does he sound just like Crocodile Dundee or has he picked up more of an English/American accent?
He was definitely world class in the late 90s and early 2000s.

I'm a bit drunk and to lazy to google, but i believe he is 1/2 italian 1/2 australian and spent time over there growing up for some reason. His brother played for Australian national team.
His english is pretty crap, i seem to remember they called him Bobo in italy because he talked like a retard... always figured it was because italian wasn't his first language. Must have been too much cocaine.

If his English is crap (and I know his Italian is crap), then we have the rarest of the rare: Someone who isn't fluent in any language
Some of the Turkish-German players who couldn't make it to the Bundesliga and end up on Anatolian teams are the same way.
I think he lived in Australia until he was 15, and while he wasn't born there, he must have moved there before his 5th birthday.

I think bobo is a nice way of calling somebody a tard in Italy. He's never been the smartest person.
Apparently his clothing line with maldini isn't making much coin.
