I feel like the Dutch have earned the right to completely melt down. When we earn a tenth of their pedigree than we can make fun of them. They're an elite nation bitching, we're a steaming pile of German shite trying to stay afloat in fricking concacaf.

Well, I'm not as calm as I used to be, but I think the idea is to not let it have a negative effect on you. For a long time, my optimism was solely a way to keep this from becoming miserable. Now that all of this drama and these bad performances have bummed me out, I'm having to remind myself that this is supposed to be a positive thing for me.
I just would rather convince myself to be a overly optimistic guy than feel so negative about it like I do now.
