Which teams are better? I would think the top club teams would be, but making a guess.

just depends on the era
you won't find a deeper team than the spanish national team currently

That team is what made me ask this question. They just seem head and shoulders better than any team I have casually watched.

Seems like club teams would have more time to work together.

Advantage club, more team chemistry.

I feeling you're seeing it now. I wonder of Germany would click better with Klose instead of Gomez.

You don't think Barca can beat Germany?

So if Portugal or Brazil played Man U or Juventis, the national team would be favored?

I agree about Spain's quantity of talent however that depth, in my opinion, isn't as balanced as Barcelona's.
Aside from Casillas at GK, where is Spain's NT stronger than Barca?
I tend to think Del Bosque would be willing to try his chances with Valdes if he could throw Messi and Alexis Sanchez on instead of so many players that offer a similar skill set as Iniesta?

The top clubs have better players than almost all national teams. Barca and Real have a better team than Spain and Germany.

I'm not sure if they are deeper, but Barcelona has a better starting eleven than Spain and every other national team, IMO.
