Been able to watch about not quite half the WC matches so far.

Spain-Portugal, obviously a good one
Argentina-Iceland was good
Didn’t get to see England’s, but sounds like ended a good one

Russia- SA was fricking horrible
Croatia-Nigeria was boring AF
Germany-Mexico was meh, as was Brazil-Switzerland

I’m sorry, but I’d rather watch five goals and a middle eastern country get skullfricked than a 1-1 draw between a country of 1,000 people and the supposed GOAT whom does nothing but choke any time he is needed for his country.

Yeah I may be biased on that one, but I like seeing Iceland produce on a big stage

Aron Gunnarsson’s throw-ins, TYFYS

I can understand that. I guess I’ve seen Iceland be consistently decent for awhile now that it doesn’t really impress me anymore. That’s a shite take probably, but whatever lol.

I get triggered by Iceland because there is no logical conclusion to the “viking clap”

Best is clearly Spain-Portugal. Worst may have been Morocco-Iran, but I didn't watch the whole game.

BEST
Spain-Portugal was all the flame emojis
Argentina-Iceland was good if you were cheering for Iceland and/or like to talk trash about Messi
Denmark-Peru, for a 1-0 game, was fun

WORST
Iran-Morocco, just no
Croatia-Nigeria was a slog, IMO
Sweden-South Korea wasn't pretty

Best
1) Spain v Portugal - Best game by far. Two great teams going all-out. Will be tough to top this, but I'm sure we'll get something as good in the knockout round.
2) Denmark v Peru - For a 1-0 game, this was really entertaining, cringy commentating aside. Both teams could have easily scored like 5 goals with better finishing. Very fast-paced and exciting.
3) Argentina v Iceland - Watching tiny Iceland earn a draw against a world power was fun.

Worst
1) Morocco v Iran - Horrible game. The first half was decent, but this game became terrible in the second half when Morocco ran out of gas. Iran got lucky. Hopefully no other games are worse than this.
2) Croatia v Nigeria - Boring slog-fest. Very sloppy.
3) Sweden v South Korea- Both teams were very cautious in pretty much a must-win game, which wasn't fun to watch.

Russia vs Saudi Arabia. I had no idea a five goal game could be so terrible to watch.

Don’t know how to vote on this one. On one hand Russia can diaf, but on the other hand so can the lil ginger argentine. Ehhhh, frick...no vote.

i think people are saying that bc it was awful football by both teams, esp on a technical level.

Just Russia's awful is much better than Saudi Arabia awful

I was impressed with how Iceland gave attention to messi.
He missed a couple.

If they played again, I'd give Iceland 1.5 goals.

Delightful.

Portugal Spain lived up to high expectations.

Half the games were awful.

Once we get out of group, the participants will all have some reasonable hope of great success.
Looking forward to some matches already.

Mexico took the game to Germany for a decent portion of the match - plus the crowd was electric.

Probably one of the best games so far from a high-level competitive standpoint.

Argentina-Iceland

Was a very exciting game but Argentina dominated 70+ minutes of it. Iceland looked like a CONCACAF team in the 2nd half parking the bus and hanging on for dear life
