Believed to be most in expansion history. And they aren't done yet. Capacity will be just under 30K.

Average of 2.6 tickets per person being converted.

Won't ever work there.

Nah. Several NOLA folks on here did, though. Couple even went as far as saying it deserved a MLS team before Atlanta.

frick all I want is cheap hot dogs now.

How much are tickets?
It could really thrive with the cheap concessions if tickets aren't unreasonable. I'd say soccer is way more popular in the suburbs than basketball.

Depending on what you want, anywhere from $20 to $225 per game in the various season ticket packages. Cheapest are behind the goals then more expensive as you come around to the center and the club sections.

Those concessions prices....finally someone realized that making it affordable will lead to more asses in seats. My club seats will cost me 50 bucks a ticket and with those concession prices that will make going to AUFC a reasonable entertainment option.

Yup. I'm over in the $35 section and honestly a step up to $50 would have been worth it and might upgrade in season 2. For affordable food it's totally worth it. And I'm an easy MARTA ride away so transport is cheap AF.
Bring in all the "let's eat before" or "let's eat after" folks = $$$$.

Is this the terrible sports town that I hear so much?

Since you can bring whatever food you want into ATL sporting events, I guess they finally decided they'd compete on price

Not at the Georgia Dome for sure and probably not at Philips either.

Yep Turner Field has always let people bring in sealed non alcoholic beverages and food in soft sided coolers or bags.
The only time I was able to bring in food to Phillips or the Dome was for a Hawks game against Dallas that was during the 2014-15 season that the city made everyone leave work early for so there were no vendors open in the arena.
