I could definitely see the price people are willing to pay skyrocket if they had won the tourney with him scoring 4-5 goals or something though so it makes sense.

That is why I said that I hope it continues. And don't steal my propaganda theory and use it against us. Don't you have a bus that needs parking?

From the same guy who said he would rather kill himself than play 5 at the back on FIFA pro clubs. One word - hypocrite.

Giroud to Arsenal seems official now , and Chamakh is NOT part of the deal

Yea solid signing. Now on to a Defensive Midfielder.

Lots of interweb rumors about Ramsey to Fulham. One says it'd be a one year loan, another says they want to buy him for £5.5mil. Hope we don't sell him, but I'm not opposed to a loan.

I also saw that Denilson will be returning, as the club he was loaned to wanted badly to keep him but they didn't have the funds to do so.

What is the latest on M'Villa? Has that rumored died already?

Giroud and Podolski ... nice signings.
I just hope loading up on forwards/strikers is not in prep for RVP leaving.

Rumors are that Wenger has turned his attention to Javi Martinez due to M'Vila's attitude problems. Wenger was said to be unhappy with M'Vila's role in the France meltdown. Could be a good old fashioned smokescreen by Wenger to throw other clubs' attention away from M'Vila. Guess we will have to wait and see. I'm just happy to see us trying to address the defensive midfield problem.

I thought Bayern was gungho after him?

Yup and I would assume that he would be out of our price range too. That is why I'm guessing that it was a bit of counterintelligence by Wenger.

Just a little something to keep our spirits up!

I've said it in other threads, but I'll say it again. That kit is really growing on me. If you look at it in a vacuum, it is a really solid look. I know some will gripe because of the dark blue on the sleeves, but it could be a lot worse as far as tradition is concerned. Arsenal could be dressed in flannel like ManU.
