I hate it for him. I've never seen the guy down about anything, he doesn't deserve to have his career (potentially) ended here like this

If we sell Gibbs this summer do we sign a young LB to learn under Nacho, or do we sign an established left back that can challenge him for the starting job?
If we go with the latter (which I hope we do) we should try and get Blind from United or Bernat from Bayern IMO

I'm all for Ricardo Rodríguez from Wolfsburg.

I've wanted Rodriguez for three years. God he's good. Blind isn't a left back and Bernat is alright, but I'd prefer Jose Gaya.

I'd rather not sell Gibbs.

I'm not sold on Rodriguez. He's had a subpar season and isn't convincing defensively. Mendy, Gaya (as crazy stated), Guerrerio(dream signing but unlikely), or even Bertrand(epl proven) would be decent signings. I don't know if Gibbs would want to stay if we signed another 1st team LB but I'd keep him over Monreal. Nacho is declining and is old.

Idk how credible it is, but apparently Allegri "told his friends he's heading to Arsenal this summer"
I doubt we do what City/Pep did last year lol

God Allegri isn't my first choice. I'd rather Jardim. I think Allegri is an inheritor of good/decent situations, but he's shown a good amount of tactical nous. I do think he won't be prepared for the PL style.

I'm still on the fence with Wenger leaving. The missing piece is that he needs to start being more proactive tactically. It's alright to tell players in certain situations what to do. It's not hindering their development to guide them. I think it does hinder players when they are put in bad situations and frick up and then get a massive amount of hate. Arguably, it destroyed Denilson, it could have destroyed Ramsey (and could still) and could still destroy Ox.

Rambo and Koscielny will be available for Saturday. Ozil "should be OK."

Wheatley says Ozil out with Flu.

Any lineup guesses?

Cech

Bellerin-Mustafi-Kosc-Monreal/Gibbs

Ramsey-Xhaka

Theo-Iwobi-Ox

Alexis

Would like to see Welbeck start but not optimistic about it.

Much rather have Ospina in goal, but I'd reckon we keep Cech.
It'd be great if we'd finally drop Iwobi and give someone else a chance

Alexis is on the bench. I don't know why.

Fellas..

Wenger knows what he's doing.

Jk. Why the heck are we starting Coq in the middle with Xhaka?? Why hasn't Iwobi been dropped?? Why isn't Perez getting a chance?? Where is Alexis???
