I can't disagree with you. I love Wenger and don't think it's time yet but if this continues we need new blood. Preferably an Italian, because by the look of things an Italian will have won the last 2 titles.

My only thing about getting a new manager is I want longevity, I don't want someone (like Pep) that moves places every 3 years

Well, if we beat Chelsea this weekend we will have gained two points on them this week, which is fine.

So I'm not livid, but I'm not optimistic about Chelsea and we obviously blew it today.

Yeah. The only decent thing about today is Chelsea didn't win. I still think they have the title though.

Time to find out how serious Ox and Rambo are hurt. If it's bad... we should just forfeit Saturday

Thank goodness for the scousers.

And while I'm glad for more depth, the injuries again this season show we cannot turn our noses up at signing good players, not even considering that Alexis may be leaving for a huge fee this summer.

I'm just tired of Arsene's arrogant "we don't need to sign anyone" because we are in second and have a few people back from injury.

Arsenal have been stuck in their own version of groundhog day for years. "This" has continued for some time now.

Championship teams don't lose to watford at home. You certainly don't see Chelsea doing it.

Look at our injury history. Something is fundamentally wrong with our treatment and prevention of health problems. Take Wilshere. He couldn't string 3 games together with us. He's playing damn near every match for Bournemouth. I'm not sold on it being a coincidence.

Damn it, long day of work and I turn this crap on? Down 2-0 already.

This is why we need new blood. I worry we could turn into a Southampton, but I'm tired of this shite.

That's the thing, we may end up beating them. But they don't lose these games.

What lineup do you guys want to see vs. Chelsea?

I'm going with:

Cech
Bellerin-Mustafi-Kosc-Monreal
Ox-Coq
Theo-Ozil-Iwobi
Alexis

Bench: Ospina, Gibbs, Maitland-Niles, Gabriel, Welbeck, Giroud, Perez

Perez/Welbeck/Giroud as subs if needed.

Same although I would consider AMN for Coq. I know it's reactionary but I'm tired of Coquelin's contributions offensively. Plus he's so far up the field that it negates his greatest strength in breaking up counters in front of our CBs.

Ainsley was good the other day, but that was a cup game. This is a big derby against one of our biggest rivals, that could lose the title for us. I'm thinking it'll just be too big a moment for a guy without a whole lot of experience.

On the other hand, Coq has a bad record against our big rivals. Just look at the Tottenham game last year

Love Coquelin, but this means something.

I do too but with our depth at the moment I think he has to start. I would be extremely wary of starting maitland-niles in that big of a game against Chelsea.

I would love to get Perez in there. Maybe switch him with Iwobi. Feel like we haven't seen him and Alexis together enough. Perez is just a more mature player and hope he doesn't get the poldi treatment.

Iwobi was our best player vs. Watford. I think he has to play. Theo was pretty bad and is coming off injury so maybe start Perez there.

God damn if his shot that hit the woodwork would've gone in.

Iwobi is much better on the left. He just seems more comfortable. At times he's unplayable. He abused the Watford RB in the 2nd half.

Any of you guys live in Nashville? Our group is apparently watching at Fleet Street with the Arsenal fans. Will buy any of you who are there a beer.

Aw man, I'd love to take you up on that but I live in MS. I'm sure it'd be a great time getting to know some other posters though
