League Cup games are always one-off playoffs with the possibility of extra-time and penalties.

I did not ask for that.

It's been a fairly boring match. No real possession, or meaningful ball movement, definitely a lack of creativity and aggression going forward. Shortly after the 1st goal there was a period of about 5 minutes where Arsenal were actively trying to press the issue going forward and looked likely to get another, but that was about it as far as looking composed in attack.

a replay wooo just what we need, more matches
eisfeld isn't very good at anything but scoring goals. he's going to be a balla for some second division squad.
hayden had a nice debut. i like him. could be the DM of the future we're looking for.

Extra time...

And Arteta goes down clutching his shin/calf in extra time
he got subbed off btw
And Bendtner 1v1 with the Keeper took such a long time to make up his mind he allowed the defender to recover and tackle the ball off of him.

Ryo has looked like shitty shite

Yet Arsenal's MO on attack is work it out wide left to him for a cross or dribbling attempt, or out right for Jenks to send in a cross. Just look downright bad on attack all around really.

painful to watch. not even close to on the same page.

How has West Brom not gone ahead?

At this rate we will lose. Verm left a player completely open in the box for a shot and it hit the crossbar. Instead of marking him he drifted toward the center of the box to help out on defending a cross instead of picking up this man.
And then right after on the next attack there was a mad scramble in the box where they could have won it again.
And then right after that Sinclair shanked an open volley from 7 yards out where he was relatively unmarked.
