That's probably why we're doing this PSL thing.

I think when U13 starts we'll likely play something similar put on by MSA, but honestly I have no idea.

We've only played club tournaments so far, but unless we start winning more of them I can't imagine we go looking for better competition. We play a regional tournament in Birmingham in the spring, but my son was on a different team that played in the LA Fire tournament in NOLA that same weekend last year.

One weekend at a time...

Thanks. And did you guys combine age groups to form the LPDL teams or just enter the existing Black team from the older age group as the LPDL team? (ex. for U16/17 did you just enter the U17 black team or did you add the top u16s to that squad as well?)

Most clubs combined 2 age groups, but brsc and maybe Fire did not. Our team is only 01 (no 02) but we only have 15 or 16 on roster, but will have guest players. Like I said, not much different than LCSL, but supposed to allow us to schedule our own matches. Which is good, with 3 leagues, high school, etc.

I heard Mandeville was the only club to combine and the other 4 didnt but who knows.

The 03 BR and Fire teams are good and draw from big enough area that they don't really need to combine 2 years. 03 Baton Rouge Black lost to South Carolina in pk's at Regionals. That South Carolina team won Nationals.
