If Diego Costa did this, he'd be on trial for attempted murder.

You shouldn't be punished for standing up for your teammates in certain situations as long as you don't take it too far, these are men for crying out loud

Well Dinho only did what he did because Cesc was going after Kelechi. Then Cesc baby slapped him, which according to people on r/soccer is a big insult and no, no in brazilian culture (I have no fricking clue, just going off of what others said). Dinho didn't almost ruin someone's career so by your logic he shouldn't have been punished.

Anyone who has watched City since he's been with the club knows he can be a twat. It isn't even the first time he's tried to frick with Luiz.

Edit: I still like watching the video and watching Kanté. He is just like wtf is going on lol.

You should not get in trouble for standing up for your teammates, but unfortunately these situations turn into a game of let's see what we can get away with or who we can get sent off. It's the refs job to handle the situation and until you hand out discipline for ref crowding and post foul chicanery it's going to continue to happen.

Can anyone give me a good reason why plays that the ref "saw" are unreviewable?

Should have never come to that. I'm all for letting them play, but shite got way too chirpy before all that went down.

I would have zero problem with no punishment for Fernandinho. Maybe a game at most. If anything he should get suspended for being dumb enough to get baited so easily.

Should've just been a red card and miss the following match per usual.
He did practically try to force choke Cesc.
