Adventures in Balkan soccer: MTK Budapest v FK Vojvodina pics

Went to last week's Europa League qualifier between MTK Budapest (Hungary) and FK Vojvodina (Serbia). Match ended 0-0. Ref was terrible. He gave out 7 yellows and missed a blatant red for a pullback through on goal and a penalty for handball.
Budapest was playing at UTE's ground in Ujpest (just north of the Pest part of Budapest) due to renovations at their own ground.
Crowd was sparse (I'd be shocked if there were more than 5000 people there) and the Vojvodina fans were much louder than the Budapest fans.

The majority of the balkan region is on the med or close by
but its not worth debating i dated a Balkan woman for 4 years and then married another born in a Balkan nation.

IMO, it has more to do with north-south mountain ranges and the Danube and its tributaries.
