A new Man City crest leaked by the UK government?

I want to know what's wrong with their current crest. This one is worse.

I like how it incorporates the history. Not a huge fan of the design though. Some of the ones mentioned early on looked better. Some of the fan created ones were great too.

I really wish they would have incorporated the "Superbia in probelia". It wasn't incorporated until the 1997 crest but I've always liked it. It emphasizes the club's past, similar to how United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and to an extent, Pool did their most recent designs.

Could be worse. I don't mind the current crest, but I do like the tribute to the old one.
I saw on the Reddit sub the other day that they may break out the old red and black unis sometime soon as well. I'd like to get my hands on one of those.
