The Lobos will get to know all the wonderful construction on I-10 E like the back of their hand.
It’s great to see a well-run, high level amateur league in a region where we don’t have access to professional soccer or even men’s D1 college soccer, really. Hopefully a building block for the future.

I remember Juno Mboungou from high school.

We’re heading that way for a youth tournament soon. Called the Perdido Shootout, but my son usually plays in Foley. Its not an elite tournament, but there are usually a couple-few gold level teams. Looks like a top 50 team is playing up in my son’s bracket this time.
We enjoy heading east for this one. Will be back in May for the Big Wave tournament as well.

The GCPL has announced the launch of the Gulf Coast Development League (GCDL) as the next phase in their developmental approach for all up and coming players in the Gulf Coast region.
“Development for our players has always been one of the main ambitions for the GCPL” said league President, Jeremy Poklemba. “Ultimately we want to see all of our clubs positioned with a developmental approach that allows them to identify those aspiring competitive youth players in their area”
The 2019 GCDL season will feature four teams that will play a double round robin competition starting in May.
