Help me understand why would he go to Chelsea then be loaned to Juventus?
Playing time of course, but why did he not just go to straight to Juventus if they were interested in him?

Fiorentina didn't want to sell directly to a rival. Also, Juve doesn't have a ton of money.

I tend to root for players more than teams, especially with European soccer.
I was rooting for Juventus to beat Barca...looks like ill stay the bandwagon a little while longer.

Stones handing in his transfer request loses some of Everton's leverage.
Happy player = higher transfer fee
Player asking to leave = lower transfer fee
I will be surprised if it hits the 40 million number...I am expecting in the 35 range now.
