That's incredible

I'm waiting for him to pull a Ramos and act like no one will notice if he tries to play as a striker when his team is 4-0 up

It did kinda suck. Both teams looked pretty bad.

This game was fricking terrible. I enjoyed that Greece/Costa Rica game more than this slop. Not impressed with Germany at all.

For a 1/4 final that was very underwhelming, one of the more intriguing matchups too.

Games like this don't do soccer any favors in the US. First game since since the US was eliminated and it was fricking awful. Hopefully the match this afternoon delivers.

This looks nothing like the German squad in 2010.

They're much more timid than in 2010, probably due to Kroos playing up the middle instead of Özil.

They looked a lot better once Klose came off and Muller had the freedom to run into that space.

Timid is the perfect word. In 2010, they were a pure onslaught.

Kroos is a much safer player than Özil. I think that's a lot of what it is.

With all of the recognition he has received this year, I honestly think a lot of his play went under the radar behind Atletico's organization and the good goalkeeping performances in La Liga this year. Teams would finally break Atletico down, generate good chances, and it just wouldn't matter.
