Not 100% sure how I feel about this. He's a great player, no doubt but it seems kinda rushed after the Thiago fiasco, although rumor has it that we never put a bid in for Thiago. Unless of course he was out back up plan all along.
I guess either way, the tears of Arsenal supporters will feel good if it happens.

considering you can't get him unless we don't want him, there won't be any tears. and that price isn't anywhere near his worth. if you did get him, it'd be at a much higher price which would help us too.

When Cesc left Arsenal, he was a top 10 player in the world IMO. Best MF in the PL, arguably best player. His star has diminished some in a secondary capacity at Barça.
Suarez is quite possibly the best player in the PL right now in a position we need more than a CAM, though creativity at either spot is a needed addition that both can provide.
Thinking about it coldly and rationally, Suarez helps our team more so I'd give the slight edge to him. But I would be unable to contain my joy if Cesc, who is my favorite player, came home. The emotional side would trump for me, and likely for most Arsenal fans. A lot of Arsenal fans have said they don't want Suarez, but also a lot are still pissed with Cesc about how he left. For me the joy of his return and the awareness of the burden being a fan of the team Suarez plays for (i don't know how you 'Pool guys do it) would say I'd rather have Cesc back.

It's not a burden, it's shame.
It would be interesting to see if Cesc still has it if he can get out of that terrible situation he is in at Barca.

i was mainly referring to a buddy of mine that is a huge arsenal supporter, not necessarily people on this board.
I have the slight feeling that Moyes and to a degree, SAF, isn't 100% sure that Cleverley is the future and that would be the reason for the bid.

It's not hard actually. At least for me, I can't speak for everyone. I rather enjoy how much people hate Suarez (or LFC because of Suarez)
