Saban said it best last night after Bama's win. He said something about it being a shame for the two best teams in the nation to come out of the same conference in the same year.

Before this game, i really thought LSU was the best team i had ever seen, but Bama's heart and revenge factor took that away from my Tigers.
Congrats to The Tide. This team, and its powerful D, is one for you guys to remember for a long time. I know i will.

Totally agree. Bamas defensive was absolutely breathtaking. Congratulations Alabama.

Yea. I dont think we as LSU fans are giving Bama's D enough credit. Our D was the second best in the nation.

Again, too bad LSU's season had to deal with one of the best Bama teams to hit the field.

I know it sucks for you guys, but there wasn't at team in the country that could have hung with Bama last night.

This Bama D is the best defense I've ever seen.

Great season by your guys, and like Saban said, it's too bad these teams had to play in the same division on the same year.

It's a shame that they actually looked for ways to improve over the time off while we watched Seabiscuit for 44 days

LSU had a great team. Just because they lost doesn't mean they are not great. But when you have AJ on like he was, and the Bama D swarming like they were, this team would not lose to anybody, anywhere.

Great season by both teams.
