I’m surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet. I’m sure that those of us with dogs would be extremely welcoming to this type of intrusion as well. That demographic already tends to be skittish around canines. I can’t see this ending well for those youths who attempt this.

I feel fairly safe where I live, which is exactly the reason why if I heard anything (I also have two alert dogs), I'm not hesitating to stop the intruder.
I have to assume that if anyone is trying to enter my house, they have bad intentions.

I watch my kids and teenagers in general these days and wonder where we are headed. You can tell real quick which kids are raised correctly in general.. the problem is like these young adults, distinguishing between a true danger and those playing a prank or some other social media attempt at personal relevance.. you pull a stunt like this in the wrong US home and you’re looking at national headlines and anger abound from multiple sides.
