You know I love Trump but sometimes I wonder if he wins inspite of himself.

I know 64D^7 chess and all that shite. He is unconventional and kind of beats to his own drum. He speaks in weird sentence structure, but he cares about America.

The intel briefings are worrisome, but I guess he is setting up an old school google alert. Someone let me know when something happens.

Here in DC, him continue to run his business is a big deal. My professor was interviewed nationally about his conflicts with the Trump Hotel lease.

I don't regret my vote. I just don't know what to make of this. I think he has some solid people surrounding him but I don't think his model will be typical president.

I'm thinking he will be taking the CEO approach and some people after Obama meddling on every issue aren't prepared for that.

Think of him setting the overall strategy and org mission, then relying on his directors and manager to carry it out. It's going to be a new mode of business here in government. At times it will seem messy because there will be many issues the culture hasn't ever faced. Not sure DC is ready for the change.

Man, don't you realize that he won and we all love him precisely BECAUSE he isn't typical DC? Of course he's going to piss off everyone in DC.

If a person has to give up his long time occupation in order to be president, that says something about our political system. Isn't there checks and balances on exactly what is and is not legal considering personal business interests?

Trump will have plenty of people out there, on both his side and the opposite side, keeping close tabs of any questionable dealings he might have going on.

You claim:

He won't last two years in office.

But your sig says this?

quote:

In this great unfinished world, you never really know

So the truth is you don't really know how long he will last do you?

I'm sorry, but you don't just fumble your way into a 10 billion dollar real estate empire, media mogul status, and the Presidency of the United States. This is what a real person running things looks like. If you agree that the old way was broken, how can you lament him not doing things in the old way?

I'm not sure but he does insist upon himself.

Of course. He is possibly one of the greatest marketers of all time, but that doesn't mean he knows a thing about the duties of being President.

What did Obama know when he was elected? Seriously. He was a relatively young guy with some time in the Illinois legislature and roughy 4 months as a senator before launching his presidential exploratory campaign.

Again, what we had before wasn't working. The voters are at least smart enough to know the definition of insanity.

The election is over. He needs to keep stuff like AF-1 and F-35 off his damn twitter account and shut up about them. Certain things are better handled a little more quietly.

Why do you think he cares about this country so much? He certainly doesn't care about the reverance of the office he's about to inhabit. He publicly sides with a Russian dictator while simutaneously lashing out at the intelligence agenicies of this country that are tasked with keeping us secure. This should be worrisone to everyone. It's unnerving that so many of his supporters actually believe this all some kind of conspiracy against him just because he says it is.

For all the reasons you list. That's why I like him. I really didn't like how things were going.

I think he is an imperfect messenger for a perfect message. That's why I voted for him.

I'm a huge Buy America proponent and Nationalist. I hope he succeeds.

Well what we are doing in DC isn't working for shite. I hope he does things differently and manages effectively. Patterning his presidency after every single one that came before him isn't going to bring about the type of change we need to right the ship.

One example: If the mighty Obama would have listened to his military advisors more closely we might not have lost so much territory in Iraq to ISIS. Yes, we would be an occupying force for a longer period of time. But doing it twice doesn't make sense either.

So the perfect solution is to have career policians that have never been involved in real life. Sounds like a great idea! Kind of like a bunch of theoretical hacks that never worked in the real world but want to educate our children about it. Awesome!

The parallels between the election of Trump and the hiring of O are staggering.
