Hey retard, why don't you do a little research and see how much MORE in weapons the Saudis received AFTER they "donated" $25M to the cackling hag.
So "because Hillary" makes it ok for Trump.
Interesting bar you set for your president.

They want to defeat ISIS, I assume, yet they want no American troops over there, they don't want us selling arms to any of those countries trying to defend themselves and they don't want us giving them any money for military support of those countries.

(hell, if you want to go very long-term, the Persians will still be a major regional player when the oil's gone just like they have been for millenia, the Saudis will go back to running Mecca as the religious equivalent of a tourist trap).

Maybe we just really hate Yemen

Mistake, this is one of the moves I disagree with him on. Then again I believe the house of Saudi should be destroyed. The only issue is that leaves another power vacuum in the shite hole
I think the Saudis have finally realized that tacitly support Islamic Fundamentalism is not a healthy enterprise. The Fundies always turn on the hand that tolerates them; and they would behead the Saudi Royal Family in a NY second if able.
I support this policy for economic and security. No perfect choices over there...but a stalemate/check next door against Iran helps us. And the ME in general.

I don't want THAAD in anyone's hands but ours
Assuming the story is accurate, I 100% agree THAAD shouldn't be sold or given to anyone not named the United States of America. Most of the rest I'm fine with because if they don't buy from us they'll eventually just buy from Russia. May as well bring the money here.

Arming terrorists in Syria to fight other terrorists was genius, though

If we're selling THAAD, we probably have something better.

I just don't trust that the Saudis haven't been funding terrorism and radical madrasas. People raise hell about radical Islam and Sharia law. Well guess where that shite was created and is still active? Saudi Arabia.

Well at least we're making money off the deal unlike Obama just giving billions to Iran.

Really? To me it's proof that the secret elite does exist.

is a majority of this board completely incapable of discussing policy decisions without turning it to how "libs" will think or react, or circling back to bu-bu-bu-but OBAMA bu-bu-but HILLARY

Nah this is a great idea. The problem has always been that we aren't in bed with Saudi Arabia enough. Plus expanding the military-industrial complex will prime the pump. These are shovel-ready jobs (especially if they include V-22s)!
Here come the "conservatives" to tell us what a great ally KSA must be.

Because of Iran's Obama-enabled nuclear hegemony, WH. The Mullahs and their Shia mob would lop of the heads of the Saudi Royals in short order if able. The Royals MUST realize where this whole thing goes if they don't get off the Fundamentalist bandwagon; it's a one-way street.
No doubt they have residual Fundamentalist Islam (Sunni version) problems which they created for themselves, but going forward...it's a sure-fire bet that if Islam stands by their Prophet's World Caliphate Mandate by the Sword...then it will end in major World War. Nobody but the martyrdom loonies want that. Trump's/Saudi Royal's affluence requires a societal platform of stability; sadly, their greed for personal power is our best hope.
Our worst nightmare would be for fundamentalist inspired Islam (Shia/Sunni) to unite, and turn all that hardware on Free People. Well, we wake up every day facing the challenge of death in some way, shape or form. Just the way it is.
