Would you support a separate country for Black Americans?

Rep. Keith Ellison has supported this. I guess you could carve out a state from some part of the map.
I know many black people would like this idea. They could have their own government and call their own shots. I know many white people who are tired of being labeled racist would like this idea. Maybe.
Jews had their own state created in the Middle East.
Would that solve all of the racial strife or would most black Americans want to remain in America and nothing would really be different?
How do you think something like that would play out?

I think Israel as a state caused more problems than it solved, but that is not me advocating against israel, just my observation. I dont see how crating an ethnic state for blacks would be any different.

How about we give them california, wall it off from the rest of the country, and let all the anti-racist white progressives live in harmony under their rule?

Homogenous ethnic states tend to do better. Israel's problem is being surrounded by the folks whose land they were given. Were they more isolated (ie the Madagascar solution), there'd be much less strife.
The problem with current African states is that they aren't really homogenous - I think Kenya itself has well over a hundred spoken languages within its borders. Ain't all that similar, despite the fact that they look the same to us.

It wouldn't be able to support itself and would be no different than what we have today, just segregated into one geographic region. A big black (literal) welfare state.
