Would you rather the Wall or a 20% tariff on all imports?

Because that's the line that has been drawn between Trump and Ryan. Trump wants his wall and Ryan wants a 20% tariff on all imports.

Which one would you choose if you could only choose one?

Wall.

Tariffs aren't breeding our country into a third world paradise.

Cut spending. But that ain't flying in DC.

ETA: behind door number 4 is Wilber Ross. He needs permission from congress to renegotiate NAFTA. That's another way to pay for the wall.

Well the wall is free (since Mexico is paying for it) and tariff is like free money according to Trumpkins...

Would it be too much winning to have both?

You may want to re-word your question. You can have both or none, but not either-or.

That and spending cuts. I'm sure they could cut it across the board in every department (including defense), and with a focus in decreasing bloat and increasing efficiency, it would have minimal to no negative substantive impact.

But alas, government wants more money and to spend more of it, regardless of the political party associated with the government.

Why would anybody care about taxes when something as important as wall spending is being debated?

I'll sacrifice both to finally have liberal concentration camps so we can contain and eventually rid this world of that disgraceful disease. Can you add that to the options, please?

Indifferent towards the wall. Would much prefer the INS (or whatever they're called now) actually go after illegals and punish companies that hire them.

Very much against tariffs.

I get that the former is very anti-libertarian of me, but I just think that the average illegal immigrant costs taxpayers more than the put in. End welfare and I'll reconsider. Tariffs just increase the costs of many of the things that Americans purchase, all for the sake of spending the money on stupid shite like the war on drugs, the war in the Middle East, or welfare.
