Would people against women’s suffrage have felt weird knowing white women voted with them?

Is this still your excuse for losing so many white women in 2016? Their white husbands intimidated them into voting for Trump?

Suffrage is another item that backfired on the Republican party big time.

So, to answer your question, I bet the Dems were pleasantly surprised yet again, similar to when the right abolished Jim Crow laws...
