Just wondering, people are afraid of WW3 and how China might back up NK, if they do, we can wipe the debt away right?

Like I've always said. Tell China to come and get the money we owe.

Your question kinda answers itself. China not gonna side with their biggest welfare bum over their biggest customer.

If NK strikes first, China will remain neutral. If the US or SK strike first, China will swoop in to defend NK. It's no more complicated than that.

We could cancel that debt tomorrow.

Outside of being at war with a debt holder, it's a bad move.

Well if we hypothetically cancel our debt, then where do we start borrowing money to pay the welfare state? Or does that just stop? Then China just goes away quietly?

No. They're far more financially invested in the US than the DPRK.

I think China stays on the sidelines militarily until it looks like the South with the US might take the North and reunify. China doesn't want that and won't allow it.

Basically Us/SK forces crossing the 38th parallel would probably mobilize them to enter NK to deter a reunification

Doesn't mean WWIIi. We don't want to fight China to win NK. We just want to eliminate the nuke threat.

Considering the way international politics goes, who knows? If the US decides it no longer owes China, it would be best to do during wartime because I think that would have the lower impact on the value of the Dollar as our war machine would be cranking up the economy.

The plan is. While making NK into a waste land we basically tell China that they or next or they can forgive our debt. We already have the ships and shite in place to just Lee flying bombing runs. Tell them we'll stop when they wipe the slate clean.

It's obvious, just give it to the Chinese. Financially support the rebuilding of NK, but allow China to enact their policies over them. Democracy won't even compute with the NKs, so let them slowly be introduced to the real world by a totalitarian capitalist market.

The Chinese are way more prepared to deal with the North Koreans than we are. Keep the DMZ where it is and let China do what they see fit. What they see fit will benefit them and the United States and especially South Korea, which is their #3 trading partner. Capitalism will work this out.

That's not how our relationship works with China. The fact of the matter is we own all of innovation, ideas, and companies in China. They're retarded at innovation, but they're geniuses at making ideas come to life.

The fact of the matter is we will never pay off the debt to them nor do they want us to. We own them, and return we give them wonderful standards of living and products to consume. It's a continuous circle and I think it's the greatest alliance in human history. China and US's relationship I think has effectively created the closest thing we'll ever see to world peace. Both countries are prospering and we don't want to frick it up.

we don't owe money to china per say. we are their largest exporter. we paid/ continue to pay them for a lot of goods. they aquire a surplus of money through trading bc they export more goods than they import; they took the profit from trade deals and reninvested it into our Treasury department ( sort of like investing in the stock market) bc they believe in the future of our economy and a good US economy means more exports for China.

It basically how much stake their economy has within our own economy.
