Fight them out in the open? I mean who we got? I would have sworn there was no way Mike Johnson could get flipped that easily. If it's that simple, who do we have in the wings that's willing to endure what they're going to throw at them?
Gaetz? MTG? Nobody will get behind them. They're marginalized so they don't have to worry about them. It's Trump or bust folks. Either he wins or there's nobody that's ever going to be able to fix this because out of all those Congressmen, there's not really anyone there that can be trusted now.

Why are they panicking? Just in time for another Trump presidency they just got their FISA 702 renewal and Ukraine funding. They good until they run out of Ukraine money and FISA needs to be renewed two years from now.

I hear you loud and clear and have similar thoughts. My family has done nothing to deserve the tremendous scrutiny that would be directed at them and I have a much too colorful past to ever get elected.
