There are more than double Dems registered than Republicans in EBR. Demographics make it nearly impossible to win.

It wasn't really surprising.

EBR is 50-40 White to black and that is a good enough margin for a black liberal democrat to win.

She got all the black people and enough liberal white people to win.

Black people are not diverse in political affiliation and Bodi had to get enough white liberals and moderates to his coalition of white voters and he couldn't get it done.

This. I firmly helieve what swung the election to Weston-Broome was whites in the city limits who don't trust White to have their interests at heart. Both of these candidates were terrible, and Bodi was completely uninspiring. Oh, well, at least Weston-Broome is better than Denise Marcelle or John Delgado.

Voter turnout was pretty pathetic...I would love to see a racial breakdown of who black voters picked out of the two. It had to be at least 95% - 5%

St. George provides a massive amount of tax revenue to the city and has zero representation.

7 council districts touch St. George.

Right, and Bodi fail to inspire and get his people to the polls.
I voted today in suburbia and walked right in. Low turnout, and I knew it was over.

Not sure if serious, but they had plenty of signatures. EBR corruption tossed enough of those for made up reasons to kill it.

They didn't.
