Will we see a kindler, gentler Trump post recovery?

I know this is hard to fathom but this situation is so bizarre I have to wonder what Trump’s demeanor will be like when he returns. Possibly a little more docile, humble, who knows? Will there be anymore raucous heavily attended rallies? If the debates happen, I can’t envision a WWE style brawl like we saw in the first. Next 30 days will be interesting strategy from the Trump camp.

I honestly think he comes out and takes COVID-19 more seriously and tries to use it to rally not only his base but try to pull the moderates back with a “newfound perspective”. I could see this being a very good thing. I call it the “rally around the leader” phenomenon.
Look at Boris Johnson, when he recovered he came out more serious about it and approval shot up by nearly 30%.
But still, he’s going to be bombastic and brash like always. That might win him 4 more years, at least I hope.

I don’t think he’s lost any self proclaimed “moderates” That he has to pull back. There is no one who voted for Trump in 2016 who has looked at what’s going on in democrat controlled cities and the democrat party and is saying “yes! That’s what I have been looking for.”
