Absolutely, a communist dictator whose history has been so convoluted here in the US that people, like my GF, consider it an end of a era.

This is one of the first things I thought when I saw the news. While I can't see him attending, I could see him doing some stupid shite like sending condolences to the Castro family.

Even obama isn't dense enough to attend Fidel Castro's funeral.
I can't imagine an U.S. president paying honor to a man who took the world to the brink of a nuclear war, who locked up and murdered political dissidents, who shipped thousands of criminals and mental patients to the U.S.
