I saw only one report of this. While I am sure there was more than one instance of that, I dont think it is true at each of these institutions.
To those saying this is to help Biden, I think that's a hard pill to swallow. It would require a coordinated effort across academia among admins that runs counter to the attitudes of most of their faculty.

Because pro-Palestinian anti-semitism is a bad look for liberals in an election year.
If they were protesting Trump - the rallies would be encouraged.
